The method allows to tailor the shape, size and composition of the nanoparticle improving the measuring capabilities of the tips. These novel tips are suitable for techniques that combine imaging, such as SPM and spectroscopy like tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (TERS). Industrial partners manufacturers of laboratory equipment are being sought to collaborate through a patent license agreement. An offer for Patent Licensing

This process applies techniques of the digital image processing such as pixel segmentation, recognition and selection of regions, as well as operations in the regions found within digital images with the purpose of detecting nudity. The segmentation under the colour HSV model is used for locating and separating the pixels corresponding to human skin, as well as the algorithm RSOR for recognising and separating the region with the highest number of skin pixels within the segmented image (highest region) and evaluating the digital images.

Our analysis includes mass/normal breast tissue classification, benign/malignant tumor classification in mammograms and ultrasound images, tumor detection in thermograms, mammogram registration and analysis of the evolution of breast tumors. We also quantify and visualize the evolution of breast tumors in patients undergoing medical treatment. While the previous works mainly focus on analyzing one type of breast images, we implement a robust CAD system for detecting, classifying and studying the evolution of breast cancer. This CAD system analyzes breast cancer in several types of medical images. To implement our CAD system, we use computer vision, pattern recognition and machine learning methods. We also need to collect a large scale breast cancer dataset from hospitals. This dataset should include mammograms, ultrasound, thermograms and MRI images for the same patients. Our CAD gives accurate diagnosis results because it gathers information from different sources.

The system will show the path to follow to get to a destination, using acoustic information obtained by a synthesizer voice, similar to how the current GPS navigators do it. The group is interested in reaching commercial agreements with technical assistance with companies dedicated to the designing of mobility assistance systems for blind people.

The images are captured with digital, thermal imagers, with the use of drones and robots to enter to areas with difficult access and from them, the processing that facilitates the diagnosis is carried out with a software. This tool is useful for conservation and maintenance companies of buildings, real estate corporations, insurance companies or certification to achieve collaboration and commercial agreements with technical assistance.

They offer solutions for video surveillance and intelligent monitoring from the information provided by different sensors. This technological solution can be use in different applications, among which highlights people detection and object identification and tracking. Their main advantages are its versatility to be used with different objectives and in different operating environments, the intelligence of the process and control system (extracting reliable statistics, position and orientation, size, counting, mobility and other physics of the object). The group is looking for security companies, companies working in events planning or gauging control, to achieve technical collaboration agreements.

In this way, the vehicle reaches a better adaptation to the space and organization of the warehouse. In other words, the vehicle can be adapted to the place and it is not necessary to adapt the place to the vehicle. The main innovative aspects are: • The vehicles have a high level of autonomy, due to the dynamic planning of paths. • Avoid collisions because the system can modify the path in real time. • The definition of new paths without modification of the environment avoids costly investments.

They can also make use of sonar images or adding structured light to the environment in order to analyze defects and shapes in products. The figure shows an image obtained by means of a range camera that allows distinguishing an object by its depth. Thus, its position and defects can be determined through its volume. The technology is totally developed and has been laboratory and field tested, although, it requires a particular specification for each case. The technology can be used for real-time inspection of production processes, both for the recognition and for the classification and quality inspection.
RAMOT at Tel Aviv University Ltd. posted this:MRI Radiofrequency (RF) Coil with Efficient Excitation and Reception Neuronal Water MoleculesA simple-designed RF resonator which can be used to provide a substantially homogeneous RF magnetic field in an MRI apparatus. The homogeneity of the RF field is achieved by a judicious selection of both the electrical setup connected to conductive elements (e.g., electronic circuitry), and the geometrical characteristics (e. g., profile shape, dimensions, etc.) of conductive elements. Resonance tuning and/or the impedance matching are carried out by constructing an arrangement of transmission lines having predetermined impedance. This invention describes an arrangement of circuitry - capacitors, tunable capacitors, inductors, tunable inductors and/or transmission lines, which have typical impedance. Project ID : 8-2013-417
