Seeking groundbreaking Powder Application Technologies - Novel technologies for seasoning application on fabricated potato chipsDuring the production of fabricated potato chips, the application of seasoning is an important but inefficient process. For a demonstration of how such chips are made, please view this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pVhkgYUgo0 The typical method for the application of seasoning is for the chips to pass through a curtain of falling powder. This system has the undesirable side effect of a portion of the seasoning falling between chips. To counter this inefficiency, this seasoning can be recycled for use during later production runs. Unfortunately, the flow characteristics of the powdered seasoning can be negatively impacted by exposure to air or airborne oil particles, limiting reuse potential. Additionally, the need for even coverage across individual chip surfaces and consistency between production lanes can be challenging as well. To improve production efficiency and ensure product quality, we seek the next generation in powder application technologies.

Seeking IDEAS for a new process to separate close boiling nitrile isomers more cost effectively. There is a byproduct stream from an adiponitrile process that consists of an isomeric mixture of close-boiling, unsaturated, short-chained nitriles (branched and linear), such as 2-pentenenitrile. Traditionally, distillation has been used to separate these isomers. This is an expensive process that leads to higher material cost which subsequently limits the number applications in which these molecules can be used. An alternative technology is sought to the current distillation process that can separate these close boiling isomers more cost effectively. We are seeking existing or early, unproven but plausible ideas for further consideration. Proposers of ideas found to be of interest may be contacted for further paid consultation to discuss.Nomad Foods posted this Technology Call

Solutions should be accurate, rapid, scalable, and suitable for high-volume manufacturing environments.arbaz adil posted this Technology Call
Seeking individual or group who can make derivative from Rice glucoseCarbohydrates are abundantly available in nature and are produced in bulk amounts. Moreover, they are inexpensive and possess a high chemical as well as enantiomeric purity. focuses on sucrose and glucose as raw material. Although glucose is accessible in large amounts, few non-food applications have been developed. Fundamental research of conformational aspects in relation to their functional properties will result in directed development of new pathways to applications. Derivation of these carbohydrates enlarges the applicability for many purposes, such as detergents, surfactants, sequestrants and sweeteners. The solution required for this project is to produce derivatives from Glucose and convert glucose into valuable product citric acid D-glucitol, HFCS (high fructose corn syrup), gluconic acid, alkyl polyglucosides and others.

Seeking ingredients and manufacturing processes to create meaty textures in plant-based productsWe are working with a global food manufacturer that is seeking innovative approaches for introducing meaty texture into plant-based meat and fish. Consumers are interested in plant-based foods because of the health benefits of reducing their meat intake, concerns about farm animal welfare, and the high CO2 emissions linked to livestock farming. However, some consumers who have tried plant-based meat list texture as one of the reasons why they chose not to purchase the products again. The company is interested in ingredients and manufacturing processes that can create authentic (look and feel) meaty textures in plant-based meat or fish products.Innoget Team posted this Technology Call

Seeking innovative ideas to improve safety when transporting LPGLPG is a versatile energy used mainly for cooking. It's portability allows it to be used in the most remote parts of the world providing modern energy to billions who otherwise rely on wood and charcoal. Moving LPG through the distribution chain, in cylinders and in bulk, is a risky business and incidents can occur. We are looking for ideas to reduce that risk. We want to hear your innovative ideas to create a safer environment for transporting LPG through the distribution channel and support the already good safety record that the industry has. These ideas might include: - The improvement of existing equipment design, or the creation of new equipment, for handling LPG cylinders, both small and large. - The loading and unloading of bulk road tankers or railcars. - The role of the driver of both packed and bulk vehicles and how their procedures could be made safer through driver alerts with, for example, facial recognition techniques. - Improved scheduling, to reduce the risks of transporting LPG on the road. - The improvement of existing, or the creation of new, handling procedures for both packed and bulk LPG. - How the utilisation and the linking of digitilisation technology can be weaved into this innovation to make it attractive and easy to use.Primary Care Innovation Consulting posted this Technology Call
