Details of the Innovation Need

The programme’sChallenge focuses on Functional Nutrition.

The Functional Nutrition Open Innovation Challengeseeks market-ready functional food solutions or prototype with frozen compatibility and a minimum required shelf-life of 12 months.Submissions must also meet the following criteria:

  • Existing manufacturing capabilities that comply with industry standards.
  • Protected intellectual property (owned patents).
  • Established funding ensuring financial stability for at least two years.
  • Clean label and natural ingredients, free from artificial additives, preservatives, or synthetic components.

Eligible product formats includeready-to-cook (RTC), ready-to-eat (RTE), and snack items.

Deadline for submissions is September 30th, 2025.
