The present invention is highly biocompatible and exhibits in vivo functionality, which represents an improvement in bone tissue regenerative medicine, with potentially better results in terms of bone regeneration and repair than other currently available materials.

Its novel design allows to recover the culture medium, to replace it with another medium, and to reuse the remaining biomass for a next culture operation. This novel bioreactor is characterized by its low cost and because it allows a homogenous and efficient aeration, and the correct agitation of the culture. We look for companies interested in licensing this technology for commercial exploitation.

These new catalytic systems are able to work in gas streams at temperatures between 250-500 º C in an dynamic and continuous way without suffering a significant deactivation process. In recent years, environmental legislation has restricted the air emissions permissible levels, and particularly the emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) harmful for both the environment and human health There is a wide variety of VOCs, of different chemical nature (aliphatic, aromatic, oxygenated and halogenated compounds) and consequence of different emission sources (waste gases from chemical plants, soil and water decontamination, solvents evaporation , etc..), but 1,2-dichloroethane (DCE, C2H4Cl2) is the most lasting, dangerous and commonly used in industry (used, for example, massively in the process of polyvinyl chloride production and consequently chemical plants produce significant amounts of waste that require efficient treatment). Until a few years ago, VOCs were usually eliminated by thermal incineration. However, new legislation on VOC emissions has originated significant improvements on treatment technologies. This is the case of the catalytic oxidation that in recent years has shown its ability to destroy VOCs at temperatures below those used in thermal incineration and has also produced a significant reduction of secondary pollutants (nitrogen oxides). Currently, the two technologies applied for the industrial production of functionalized polyolefins are: i. radical polymerization and ii. post-polymerization functionalization. Both technologies are based on radical processes that require high temperature (473 K) and pressure (3000 bar of ethylene), thus implying high energy consumption, low cost efficiency and poor control over the macromolecule structure. The new homogeneous catalytic system developed within this invention enables the production of functionalized polyolefins under very mild reaction conditions, temperature of 308 K and ethylene pressure of 2.5 bar, with a high control of the macromolecule architecture.

Functionality of this multi-ingredient has been tested in a cafeteria diet-induced obesity model. It has been shown that animals fed a cafeteria diet develop metabolic syndrome. The chronic administration of our multi-ingredient product reduces the effect produced by the consumption of cafeteria diet. Hence, a reduction of body weight, improvement of insulin and leptin resistance and endothelial function, a hypolipidemic, hypoglicemic and antihypertensive effect have been observed. Nowadays, there are some functional ingredients to treat or prevent some aspects of these pathologies but the novelty of this invention is that the designed multi-ingredient product is able to act in several targets at the same time.

This compound has demonstrated, in vitro and in vivo, its neuroprotective capacity in various models under laboratory conditions. This compound is characterized by a 20% increase in neuronal survival, a 35% increase in visual acuity, and a 15% increase in contrast sensitivity. Therefore, it has very promising properties that could position it as the first effective treatment against degenerative diseases of the retina. The dimensions of the elements comprising this invention will be determined by the characteristics of the structures they connect. The main innovation of this invention is that the dimensions of the washer prevent the concrete from being crushed and, therefore, prematurely depleted. In addition, it is very easy to assemble the connection system, which has a high strength, transmits the stresses between the concrete slab and the wood structure efficiently and increases the flexural strength characteristics. The system for the connection of mixed concrete and wood structures developed is useful for the rehabilitation of structures involving wooden beams supporting a concrete slab, as well as for new constructions such as framing, slabs, footbridges and bridges. Companies interested in acquiring this technology for commercial explotation are sought.

Another of the most significant singularities is its portability, since the invention is based on a reduced size device (non rackable) and made up of autonomous battery. Such a form of epilepsy is called drug resistance. One reason for the wide prevalence is the problem of insufficient efficacy of the currently available antiepileptic drugs. Also neuropathic pain in many cases is unable to control with use of currently used drugs. One of the possible reasons is that there are many mechanisms for the formation of the peripheral and central neuropathic pain, which frequently are still poorly known. Neuropathic pain is a serious clinical problem which affects up to 7 ‐ 8% of the population. Compounds included in the offer meet requirements for new, innovative drugs efficient in epilepsy and neuropathic pain cases which are still unmet medical needs (particularly drug resistant epilepsy and uncontrolled neuropathic pain – frequently of unknown etiology).

It has been reported that GD-95RM lipase successfully performed hydrolysis of different commercially available oils and fats at a broad temperature range (20-75°C) with preference to higher temperatures, displayed activity at alkaline pH and are compatible with organic solvents (ethanol or methanol). GD-95RM lipase is also compatible with compounds potentially involved in detergent production (trisodium citrate, sodium perborate, urea, boric acid or citric acid). Long term storage up to 3 months at room temperature of native and immobilized forms of GD-95RM is also possible.

The indolizine dye is obtained with absolute control, obtaining a single isomer of the ten possible.
