Center for Technology Transfer and Commercialization of Novosibirsk State University posted this:Spectral-selective thermal detectors and visualizers of radiation beams of mm and sub-mm rangesA number of thermal detectors and visualizers for inspection systems and quality inspection have been developed in the laboratory of a University (Russia). The design of detectors allows reducing the manufacturing cost as much as possible and combining functions of spectral, polarization and spatial resolution in one device. The authors are looking for partners for commercial agreements, scientific cooperation, and technological cooperation.
Heflen International Limited posted this:Low Energy High Efficiency Transfer Spray GunHeflen low energy spray gun betters the BAT requirements, has a 85%+ transfer efficiency; services the Paint and Nano coating industry a unique control method to reduce surface bounce back and reduction in an overall carbon foot print for its users. Its world patented technology has proven its ability to reduce the risk of exposure to the end user and the environment bringing a safer method of application for all coatings.
University of Huelva posted this:Auto-assemblable RJ45 male connectorOn the one hand, the invention does not require a crimp tool, which is ideal for cabling operations that require quickness. On the other hand, the innovation allows reusing the RJ plug as many times as required until properly assembling the copper pairs. Furthermore, the connector incorporates an identification by color codes for wiring according to the ANSI/TIA-968-A-2002 standard, which is ideal for people with limited dexterity on IT.
University of Vigo posted this:Diagnosis and cleaning using laser technology for the restoration of historical monumentsSince ancient times granite has been used in historic buildings. Some restorers used to apply molten beeswax on their granite surfaces to stop imminent deterioration of the monuments. At first, this treatment was a good solution to consolidate the stone, but with time it resulted counterproductive. This method allows removal and cleaning of wax and other contaminants from porous stones in historical monuments and artworks using nondestructive means through laser technology.
Universidad de Cádiz posted this:A very innovative accessory element to distribute and redirect the air flow for split air conditioningBrisAire should be placed on the air exit located on the outside of the air conditioning, held to the casing using the two adhesive strips, which allow easy assembly and disassembly. The central piece, made of light material, makes it ideal for absorbing the mass of air, acting as a loading buffer. The openings in the central body of BrisAire are arranged in rows across the surface. Its particular provision aims to create an effect of irregular distribution of air flow in the room, preventing its impact directly and uniformly on the people in the room. Once placed on the air conditioning, the element standing by on the off position, it reassembles a paper bag, attached to the air conditioning by its wider sides, and the other two sides being unfastened. When the air conditioning is turned on, BrisAire will inflate releasing some air through the openings in its body and the rest via the unfastened side to the casing of the air conditioning. The openings and the two free sides, prevent the return of air to the equipment, which could cause defects in the efficiency of the apparatus. To prevent the air from the air conditioning impacting directly on the people in the room, BrisAire has larger openings on the top side which points upwards, while the smaller openings are found beneath.
