The proposed approach to the problem of safe operation of devices is fundamentally different from the solutions which are currently used in industrial practice. Currently, the supervision of these objects is based mainly on standard non-destructive testing methods. The main limitation of used methods is the lack of the possibility of both examining the object in its entire volume and testing the device in working conditions. Developed algorithm allows to effectively solve current problems in the diagnosis of chemical installations related to the assessment of their technical condition and determination of the conditions for further operation in real time. The algorithm is particularly recommended for monitoring devices in which adverse damages occur due to the long-term operation.

The determination of the magnetic disturbance component is especially relevant in cases of sporadic but explosive solar phenomena. From the perspective of the actual user, the present invention constitutes an essential element in the risk management of the effects of solar activity on vulnerable technologies, both ground-based and satellite-based (electric power, rail transport, terrestrial and positioning navigation systems, radio and satellite communication systems ...), increasing the capacities of public administrations, civil protection and emergencies and the companies themselves, in order to prepare a successful strategy for adverse conditions related to the solar activity. The group is looking for collaboration and/or commercial agreements with the Central Administration, Civil Protection, Critical Infrastructure, Electric Power companies, Rail Network, Oil pipelines companies, Gas Pipelines companies, Insurance firms, etc...

The new material allows to accumulate a large amount of energy in the form of latent heat, the thermal conductivity is improved and, mainly, it eliminates the stability problems of the devices incorporating the material due to the small volume variations in the phase shift. The university is looking for companies in the field of cold storage systems, to assess the potential integration of this technology in existing commercial equipment and license the technology.

Comprising both shunt and series elements (inverters), UPQC compensates for sags and swells, unbalance and distortion (harmonics)in the supply current and supply voltage respectively. UPQC delivers cost savings, increased reliability and enhanced electrical power network functionality. It also employs modular control software and novel techniques for load side short circuit protection of series inverters.

Excitation with infrared radiation of these luminescent particles produces light emission in different regions of the visible light collected by a sensor to obtain an intensity ratio.
