Center for Technology Transfer and Commercialization of Novosibirsk State University posted this:Web service for speaker recognition by low quality voice recording for automatic meeting transcription and voice verification systems operating at equipment and enterprise levelsA voice recognition technology has been developed by a University laboratory (Russia) that allowed to build a web service to identify a speaker by a 15 second fragment of the voice recording with an accuracy up to 96%. The university seeks for partners for technical cooperation, licensing or commercial agreements with technical assistance.
UATEC - Unidade de Transferência de Tecnologia posted this:Process for converting waste, effluents and organic by-products in recyclable materialsA group of researchers from a Portuguese university has developed a biological process to treat waste, effluents and organic by-products with industrial origin characterized by high biodegradability that adds value to conventional biological treatment processes, integrating their assumptions on the concept of biorefinery. The invention aims to reduce by 96% the organic matter content of the starting substrate allowing generally meet the discharge criteria set out in the legislation.

Technology Transfer Office posted this:Brno Dynamic Solidification Models®Continuous casting process of steel cannot be in these days controlled without the use of mathematical models, computer simulations and advanced control and optimization methods. The proposed dynamic solidification model allows for real-time simulations of heat transfer and solidification of continuously cast steel slabs and billets. The model can also be coupled with optimization modules for the effective and appropriate control and regulation of casting.

We are able to understand variable consumption and tell our customers when they actually need to refill or reorder inventory, instead of repeatedly checking every item. We have built our product to address a large portion of the real-time inventory market, and we are initially focused on industrial gas cylinders. We can eliminate production down time due to depleted gas cylinders and reduce the number of cylinders held in inventory. Our solution, compared to other existing in-market solutions, is significantly more affordable (10x more affordable than existing solutions) and easier to set up (out of box set-up, does not require technical experience) than existing inventory telemetry products. It also combines the real time inventory knowledge with an advanced machine learning backend that predicts when inventory needs to be replenished and notifies end users.
