The group seeks to reach licensing agreements, collaboration agreements or commercial agreements with technical assistance, with companies from the toy sector, health sector and medical diagnosis, and education sector.

Comprising both shunt and series elements (inverters), UPQC compensates for sags and swells, unbalance and distortion (harmonics)in the supply current and supply voltage respectively. UPQC delivers cost savings, increased reliability and enhanced electrical power network functionality. It also employs modular control software and novel techniques for load side short circuit protection of series inverters.

Also, the new devices have the following advantages: Efficiency: light emission threshold voltages from 2 V. Stability: use of air-stable electrodes, with high work function. Spin valve properties (magnetoresistance): control of electrical properties by means of magnetic fields, for example light intensity and colour. Low cost: manufacture with commercial and readily available materials, using soluble deposition methods, much cheaper, and viable on a large scale, that evaporative deposition methods.

Thermal desorption and head space injection minimize sample handling, do not require the use of solvents and reduce the time of analysis. o Cheap passive samplers with a fast and simple fabrication procedure. o VERAM permits a multidirectional sampling differing from radial or one-way sampling devices with encapsulated solid phases.
