It is a road safety system that ensures that the exit access of the vehicles from the parking is performed safely for pedestrians, by monitoring the different access points to the parking, using a stereoscopic vision system with infrared lighting. The images provided by the stereoscopic vision system are processed by a computer, obtaining information regarding the presence of pedestrians in the vicinity of the monitored access point. This information is used to act on a traffic light that controls the exit access of vehicles. The group looks for licensing agreements, technical cooperation agreements, manufacturing agreements or commercial agreements with technical assistance, with companies from the sector of transport infrastructure and traffic safety.

The group seeks for licensing agreements, technical cooperation agreements, manufacturing agreements and commercial agreements with technical assistance with companies that perform maintenance and commercialization of precision kinemometers and companies that produce intelligent systems of transport.

The device consists of a set of cameras located in the environment of each point of interest, an infrared lighting system, an image processing module and a wireless communication system with the train. The system contributes to the increase of safety in rail transport, providing the machinists with visual information about the state of the conflicting points and notifying the presence of obstacles. The system is capable of detecting the presence of objects in daylight and nighttime conditions. The group seeks for licensing agreements, technical cooperation agreements or commercial agreements with technical assistance, with companies that work in the manufacture of safety equipment for rail transport systems.

Its main field of application is in biomedicine, as non-viral transport agents, as drug transporters, to elaborate a drug, as antimicrobial, antiviral or antipyretic agents. In the environmental sector we also find its application as biocides for water treatment. The group seeks to reach license agreements, collaboration or commercial agreements with technical assistance with companies from the sector of Health, Pharma and Environment.

DIT Hothouse posted this:New Anti-Counterfeit Technology - Pressure Sensitive HologramsDublin Institute of Technology (DIT) researchers have invented a unique, patented hologram that changes colour under pressure and has widespread applications for security, authentication and environmental sensing. Holograms are frequently used for security and authentication, and are commonly found on credit cards, bank notes, passports and concert tickets, as well as on a number of high value goods such as pharmaceutical drugs, clothing and accessories. They can also be used as sensors if the hologram is sensitive to changes in its environment, and for tamper detection for document security. Current holographic solutions are usually mass produced from a single master hologram, resulting in identical holograms, with serialisation applied via standard overprinting, allowing the holograms to be either tampered or copied. The pressure-sensitive optical device developed at DIT allows the production of true individual holograms. Specific customer codes can be embedded into the actual hologram during manufacture, making them extremely difficult to copy but very easy for the end user authentication through a pressure-induced colour change of the hologram. The colour change can be either temporary or permanent, depending on specific requirements. This optical device can be a purely visual feature to be used for authentication by the end customer/consumer using thumb pressure, or it can also be designed to be machine readable for automated checking within the supply chain.

This technique is able to detect different types of adulterants qualitatively. In addition, a quantitative measurement of the degree of adulteration of an essential oil can also be performed by means of pre-calibration of the sensor for a particular adulterant. The sensor could be miniaturized and manufactured at a low cost compared to traditional methods of analysis such as gas chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography. The sensor can be used by unqualified personnel.

Data on the production of the BR in the world is hidden. From open sources - the only seller (and, possibly, producer) is an American company SIGMA, selling BR for research. We offer developed strain of BR. A method of producing allows to get BR in large quantities to several kg. The strain is certified and stored in special depositories. BR has unique qualities - the main one is - memory. For BR, it was necessary to find a special strain - producer of BR. Just several countries has the strain (USA, Russia, ..), other data hidden. We also developed such an unique strain.
