Summary of the technology

A nanobiotechnology and smart polymers company. The company is committed to products for the biomedical sector, with an emphasis on new scaffold materials for tissue engineering, drug delivery and early in-vitro diagnostics. Its current unique and proprietary products offered on the market fall into three classes:
(i) electrospun polymeric nanofibers functionalized by means of a proprietory class of hyaluronic acid nanoparticles (EU patent pending):
(ii) oncoprotein E6 and E7 (patented technology exclusively licensed to Nanofaber),
(iii) plasmonic nanoparticles for SERS applications.
Statistcal methods from design of experiments (DOE) and statistical process control (SPC) are deployed respectively for rational product development and process control during production.
