Center for Technology Transfer and Commercialization of Novosibirsk State University posted this:Breakthrough UAV-mobile system for geophysical research of solid mineral depositsNSU developed a UAV-mobile system for geophysical research of solid mineral deposits. It uses a high-frequency and highly sensitive vector magnetometer, gamma-spectrometer, gas analyzer, as well as special software for data processing, which creates a high-precision description of the depth of occurrence and morphology of the ore body, archaeological artifact or other magnetic anomaly with the size of up to tens of centimeters and less. Due to this, the costs of exploration are significantly, often more than 10 times lower than using conventional methods.

Due to the use of a high-frequency magnetometer, highly sensitive gamma-ray spectrometer, gas analyzer, as well as special software for data processing, the costs of environmental monitoring are reduced significantly, often by more than 3-5 times. The University seeks partners for scientific cooperation and service agreements

Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas posted this:Fabrication of tips for scanning probe microscopy with enhanced resolutionCSIC has developed tips for scanning probe microscopy (SPM) where an isolated nanoparticle is placed at the apex of the tip. The method allows to tailor the shape, size and composition of the nanoparticle improving the measuring capabilities of the tips. These novel tips are suitable for techniques that combine imaging, such as SPM and spectroscopy like tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (TERS). Industrial partners manufacturers of laboratory equipment are being sought to collaborate through a patent license agreement. An offer for Patent Licensing

This sensor allows to detect and quantify the surrounding humidity by optical transduction. The device is based in the optical response of a photonic crystal. This humidity sensor has been successfully tested showing response times under one second. Industrial partners manufacturers of sensors are being sought to collaborate through a patent license agreement. An offer for Patent Licensing

Coatings have high adhesion to a variety of substrates and are suitable for application as medical antibacterial coverings, a friction reducing coating with a low friction coefficient, antirust coats. The laboratory looks for partners for technical cooperation and technology licensing.
Universidad de Alicante posted this:Biometric identification system based on eye blinkingThe Optics and Vision Sciences research group at the University of Alicante has developed a method for biometric authentication by recognizing the blinking of a subject. The method consists of studying and characterizing the changes in the intensity of diffused light during the blinking process. Those changes are used to classify the blinks using different algorithms. A subject can then be identified according to the parameters recorded. This method allows the authentication of subjects by means of a non-contact procedure, and even unconsciously. Commercial or built-in on mobile devices video cameras or webcams can be used for its application provided that the video is recorded at rates higher than 150 frames per second (fps). We are looking for companies interested in the commercial exploitation of this technology as well as in adapting it for the development of related projects.
