I, Prof. Prakash Vaidya, am Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Chair in the Chemical Engineering Department at the Institute of Chemical Technology in Mumbai. I am an expert in catalysis, separation and reaction engineering. I work in the area of energy transition, especially, promotion of carbon footprint reduction in the energy systems during the transition, e.g., by integrated carbon dioxide capture and utilization, and improved production of hydrogen and biofuels.
