Older adults and residents of medically underserved communities face significant barriers to remote health monitoring, including complex device setup, unreliable connectivity, and limited access to compatible technology. These barriers contribute to delayed detection of health deterioration, reduced care coordination, and preventable hospitalizations. Existing remote patient monitoring (RPM) solutions often require smartphone ownership, app downloads, and technical skills — excluding a large segment of the at-risk population.
4visionCare is designed to improve health equity, safety, and independence for older adults through intuitive, inclusive, and device-agnostic digital health tools.
Our central hypothesis is that a browser-based, AI-enhanced monitoring platform requiring no software installation, combined with reliable Bluetooth connectivity and integrated Vital Sign Monitoring, Video Conferencing, AI motion analytics, and Entertainment Services will increase adoption, engagement, and health outcomes in undeserved populations.
The 4visionCare platform has been designed to provide wellness, fitness and safety virtual services for multiple market segments that include: Aging In Place, Physical Therapy, Exercise and Sporting Facilities. 4vision, Inc. the designers of 4visionCare are initially targeting 4visionCare pilot programs as an Aging In Place solution. 4Vision, Inc. seeks to license the platform as a White Label solution.
Client Application Architecture
4visionCare is a distributed architecture based on back-end servers and a front-end Browser based application named 4visionCare. 4visionCare has a unique “services” architecture and requires no app installation or update downloads. When a user starts the application a list of service types is provided. This list is updated by the platform when new services become available. Some examples of default services include:
1. Connect, and Collect Vital Sign Device Data.
2. Connect a Video Conference.
3. Connect to Shared Messaging.
4. Start an AI based Motion Analysis Exercise Session.
5. Chose an Exercise Type From The Exercise Library.
6. Set Which Body Joints To Monitor and Report AI Analyzed Joint Angle Metrics.
7. Connect the Exercise Session to a Multi party Video Conference Session.
8. Show Vitals and Heart Rate Variability Data During the Exercise Session.
9. Entertainment services include a Shareable Slideshow app and Music Player app.
10. Remote Collaborative Geo Tracking Service That Shows Map Based Person Movement and Communication Via Video Conferencing.
Providers can easily provide new Javascript based services and have them linked into the application along with usage instructions without requiring any downloads.
The 4visionCare app comes with a hardware device called the AlertPod (TM). The AlertPod is a Patent Pending technology that uses WiFi Channel State Information and an integrated AI based Echo State Network to:
1. Enhance the reliability and security of the WiFi network.
2. Perform body movement analyses for security and motion assessment
3. Collects heart rate data, and detects falls without requiring wearables.
4. Connects to optional Long Range Radio Frequency based outdoor motion detectors to receive motion alerts that trigger video cameras to record videos, and images which are sent through 4visioncare messaging system and emailed.
5. There currently is no standard API that can be used in Browsers to connect to different Vital Sign Devices. The current solution is to write a device specific app that performs the connection and thus requires the user to download and install as well as download app updates. The AlertPod solves this problem and enables any browser to receive data collected by any Vital Sign Device.
