Summary of the technology

Airable Research Lab has developed a soy-based rust remover. Rust and rust stains have been a perennial problem for most ferrous materials that are exposed to the elements. The soy-based rust remover removes rust from iron and steel quickly and effectively, without damaging the underlying metal surface. The product is versatile, making it suitable for a range of materials across industrial and household applications, including machinery, tools, automotive parts, and other metal items.

Details of the Technology Offer

THE TECHNOLOGY
The primary active ingredient is modified soybean derivatives. The modifications impart water solubility and chelating ability to the compound. The chelating agents effectively bind with metal ions present in rust, destabilizing their structures. This chelation process helps to dissolve and dislodge rust particles from the surface, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the rust removal process.
