The invention relates to an electrical plug incorporating flat conductive prongs that are initially manufactured with a slight inward inclination toward each other while remaining straight along their entire length.

During insertion into a standard electrical outlet, the outlet contacts progressively force the prongs apart until they reach a substantially parallel position. This controlled elastic deformation stores mechanical energy in the prongs.

Once the plug is fully inserted, each prong naturally tends to recover its original inclined position. This elastic recovery generates a controlled preload that maintains stable contact pressure between the prongs and the outlet contacts throughout operation.
