Details of the Technology Offer

The TSD DOA engine is a proprietary passive RF bearing estimation algorithm benchmarked head-to-head against MUSIC and ESPRIT on 1,518,000 labeled IQ frames using the Stoica-Nehorai narrowband ULA signal model — the field standard for phased array validation.

Key validated results:

  • 39% lower RMSE than MUSIC at 10 dB SNR, scaling to 92% at 30 dB
  • 73% lower RMSE than ESPRIT at 64 elements
  • CRB efficiency of 1.005 at N=16, SNR=20 dB — within 0.5% of the theoretical accuracy floor
  • Full performance maintained at K=5 snapshots with no fallback or degradation
  • Zero false detections across 10,000 pure noise trials — by architecture, not threshold tuning
  • 100% detection rate across array sizes N=4 through N=64
