Wood chip production machine with a drum system that ensures the wood is scraped against the blades in one direction only. All existing wood chip production machines are based on a translational tank that scrapes the wood (tree trunk) between the blades through a back-and-forth rectilinear motion. This means the blades only scrape the wood in the first direction, while in the second direction the wood is struck by the blades without being scraped. This is a very serious drawback, because this system consumes a lot of energy and also damages the already scraped surface, since the second direction of rectilinear motion is neutral (does not scrape the wood). Our invention solves this very serious flaw thanks to our drum and round platform system, which allows the wood to be scraped against the blades in one direction only, continuously. Our three drum tanks always rotate in a single direction, producing the same amount of wood chips as current machines while consuming half the energy and taking half the time.
