Technology Description

Real time detection of explosive threats. Effective detection technologies that will speed up the detection process, maximise reliability, minimise false alarms, improved accuracy to discriminate threats from other objects and debris. The multi-sensors will require sensor data fusion and signal processing to enhance detection of specific threats in real time. The multi-sensors could include Explosive Remnants of War and IED detection, GPR, Geo tagging, area mapping and explosive trace detection. The technology demonstrator must detect buried and stand-off mines during mobile route clearance.
