A modular LED lighting system based on linear and ring-shaped LED modules that can be interconnected in multiple configurations. The system enables different light fixture forms and light distributions to be created using a limited set of standardized modules. The system is the subject of published PCT application WO2025183596 and is available for licensing and other forms of commercial cooperation.
Svetalion Lighting S.L. has developed a modular LED lighting system intended for the creation of light fixtures in multiple shapes and configurations.
The system is based on linear and ring-shaped LED modules incorporating LEDs, conductive traces and contact openings. Connecting elements installed through the openings provide both mechanical and electrical connection between adjacent modules. Adjacent contact openings have opposite polarities, allowing modules to be interconnected in different relative positions and configurations.
Light fixtures can be assembled using only linear modules or a combination of linear and ring-shaped modules. This modular architecture makes it possible to create a wide range of fixture forms and light distributions while using a limited number of standardized module types.
Potential advantages include simplified assembly, reduced component variety and inventory, scalable manufacturing, and increased flexibility in product design. The system may be applicable to decorative, architectural and general lighting products, including table, wall, ceiling and floor fixtures.
The invention is the subject of published international patent application WO2025183596. A U.S. national phase application has been filed, and entry into the European regional phase is in progress.
