Berkeley Innovation Forum Europe 2026

Taking place on 12–13 November in Kaunas, Lithuania, and organised by Kaunas University of Technology together with UC Berkeley Haas Institute for Business Innovation.

This is the first time the Berkeley Innovation Forum is being brought to Europe. Our ambition is to create a practical bridge between the US and European innovation ecosystems, bringing together senior business leaders, researchers, technology experts and ecosystem builders around the question of how open innovation can create tangible strategic value.

The 2026 programme focuses on AI and Open Innovation: Opportunities, Threats, and Value Capture, with discussions spanning AI strategy, ecosystem business, cybersecurity, manufacturing, talent, venture clienting and value capture.

Contributors include Henry Chesbrough (UC Berkeley), David Teece, Janet George (Mastercard), Lu Dai (Qualcomm), Bettina Rotermund (Siemens Xcelerator), Philipp Gneiting and Hannah Boomgaarden (Plug and Play), alongside business and innovation leaders from across Europe.
