Overview of the Event
Organized by the Spanish Federation of Technology Centers (Fedit), meetechSpain 2026 is the 4th edition of Spain's leading showcase for applied research and technology transfer. Operating under the slogan "Made in Spain, suitable for other worlds", the summit explores how technological solutions developed for extreme space environments serve as a practical testing ground for solving complex industrial, environmental, and societal challenges on Earth.

The event spans two days on October 14–15, 2026, in Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid.
Day 1 (Wednesday, October 14 – Pre-Event Day): Begins in the afternoon at AC Hotel La Finca with researcher accreditation, team assignments, co-creation sessions, and corporate challenge briefings, concluding with the official Fedit networking dinner.
Day 2 (Thursday, October 15 – Main Summit): Runs full-day at UZalacaín – La Finca, featuring the Strategic Forum, live proposal development for the Technology Challenge, B2B Innovation Club meetings, and interactive demonstrator showcases.
Highlights of the Event
Technology Challenge: A live competition where multidisciplinary research teams from across Spain collaborate to solve real-world industrial problems presented by sponsor companies.
Tech&Touch Area: An interactive exhibition space providing hands-on demonstrations of tangible prototypes and market-ready industrial solutions.
Strategic Forum: High-level panel debates addressing self-sufficiency, autonomous energy systems, closed-loop life support, robotics, and advanced communications. The forum opens with a keynote address by Juan Carlos Cortés, Director of the Spanish Space Agency.
Innovation Club: A structured B2B matchmaking space connecting corporate decision-makers directly with technology centers for strategic R&D partnerships.
