Monica Varese

I hold a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry and I have 7 years of laboratory and mentoring experience both in Italy and Spain. Currently, I am working in one of the top Spanish biomedical institutes (IRB Barcelona), in an international and multidisciplinary group focused on the study of therapeutically relevant systems from a chemical and structural perspective. In addition, I have been actively involved in several drug discovery projects in collaboration with pharma companies. I have many years of experience writing scientific and technical reports as well as coordinating projects. More detailed information could be found in the enclosed CV.
In my research activities, working both cooperatively and independently, I have contributed in all the project stages, from the born of an idea, project development (planning, execution, and reporting) until the achievement of the final objective.
I am convinced that my work record shows adaptability to new and different environments and the ability to respond positively and effectively in demanding situations
