RECENT YEARS

My experience in recent years has been mainly focused on the transformation of the different traditional ICT departments of a business group to stabilize a unique and new business area at the corporate level. Culture shift to a new mindset, innovative collaboration frameworks, flat structure reorganization and people&change management are the most complex issues I had to face, but also the more grateful. I have developed and executed strategic plans with high impact on the core processes. And I have evaluated a couple of M&A and new opportunities with innovative business models. In short: I like to challenge and to be challenged.

LAST ACHIEVEMENTS

Have managed to make my way in the world of ICT without having a purely technological background.
To become the first woman to obtain the position of Director of Information and Transformation Systems in the oldest insurance company in Spain.
Have been promoted as CIO and becoming the youngest member of the Steering Committee when I was 39.
Successfully execute several transformation processes in different companies (insurance, brokerage, services & a foundation) and bringing better results with each project.
Re-structure 4 ICT departments in different companies in a single cross-functional Business Unit and billing our 1st euro.
Position the ICT department as one of the main axes of the corporate and long-term business strategy and improving all management indicators year after year.
Lead an ICT team of more than 90 professionals.
Continuous learning and adaptation in multiple disciplines.
Waking up with the same illusion, or even more, than when I started.

NOW

I am searching for different opportunities to collaborate in new projects that I really fell in love with. I want to be in vanguardist inititives (spin offs, startups, incubators, accelerators, techno-hubs, clústers, etc). I can bring my experience, my broad vision of all business-technology issues, my non-conventional working style and my capability to view or connect ideas to solve problems or to create new ways of doing things.
