Describe it (summary)

I am an Albanian entrepreneur based in London, with over five years of hands-on experience building and operating small businesses across logistics, tourism and hospitality technology.

My background is in taking ideas into practical execution. I have worked across business development, customer acquisition, operations, financial administration, product development, supplier relationships and project coordination, often with limited resources and without large teams.

Most recently, I co-founded Eco-Ked, a sustainable last-mile delivery business in London, where I have been directly involved in day-to-day operations, customer relationships and commercial development.

I also developed and tested TheDealDashers, an early-stage hospitality marketplace, working with developers and onboarding 10 London restaurants during initial testing. Earlier, I founded Explore Vlora, a tourism venture in Albania, which I relaunched in 2024.

My entrepreneurial development includes Barclays Eagle Labs' Funding Readiness Programme, Global Connect: Raising in Silicon Valley, Get Funding Fit and the Just Transition Climate Innovation Sprint.

I am particularly interested in connecting university-developed technologies and research innovations with real-world commercial opportunities, especially in water, sustainability, climate adaptation and resource efficiency.

I am exploring opportunities to collaborate with universities, research institutions, technology owners and technical teams to evaluate market applications, identify customers and pilot locations, develop commercial models, build partnerships and pursue appropriate grant funding.

I do not come from a scientific or engineering background. My contribution is on the commercial and operational side: researching opportunities, engaging potential customers, coordinating partners and helping move promising technologies towards practical deployment.

I am open to technology licensing, commercialization partnerships and collaborative projects in Europe, Africa and other international markets.

Co-Founder

Explore Vlora

February 2017 - September 2026

Vlore, Albania

Co-Founded a small, family run tourism venture focused on helping international visitors plan and experience trips to Vlorë and southern Albania. The venture has been developed intermittently alongside other work, with periods of limited activity before being relaunched in 2024.

Secured approximately €5,000 in grant funding in 2017, which was used to develop and launch the initial website, purchase bicycles for rental, and commission professional photography for the platform and marketing.

Defined the website concept and customer experience, providing developers with requirements and guidance on the platform’s structure and design.

Attended World Travel Market London in 2017, 2018 and 2019 to approach potential international travel partners and explore distribution opportunities. The outreach generated industry contacts but did not result in commercial partnerships or meaningful customer traction.

Relaunched the venture in 2024 and coordinated trips for initial paying customers, arranging accommodation, car rental, travel itineraries and airport transfers in Albania.

Operate the venture with family members, coordinating suppliers, customer requirements and trip logistics.

June 2020 - June 2021

Managed member enquiries, memberships and payments, scheduling, customer issues and general administration.

Supported digital marketing and direct communication with members to retain customers and rebuild memberships as restrictions changed.

Used my personal training qualification to support members with gym equipment and training programs.
