The research group concentrates mainly on research and development on packaging and related technologies; the group provides technology, equipments and device design for packaging tests and evaluations. It also provides consultant and training in distribution packaging such as cushioning design, material processing.
The group has developed loose fill packaging technology, cushioning structure for heat sealed plastic flexible pouches, molded foam pulp for cushioning, high temperature testing device for static and dynamic compression of cushioning materials. Our main goal is to transfer the technology that our research teams are developing to the industries and companies.
