Seeking Recycling technologies for biodegradable films |
| |
We are looking for solutions to convert bio-based packaging back to starting materials or other high-value added chemicals (no fuels). |
Seeking Rapid Substance Detection in Inspection and Supply Chain |
| |
Procter & Gamble is a global leader in innovation, products and services for consumer goods in categories like Beauty (Hair and Skin Care), Fabric & Home Care, Baby Care, Oral Care, Health Care, Family Care, and Feminine Care. We focus on designing and manufacturing superior products, packages and experiences that are safe to consumers, the environment and supply chain partners. P&G undertakes significant efforts to analyze compositions of raw materials and finished products and packages from development to manufacturing through the supply chain. NEED DESCRIPTION For most substances we lack rapid, easy-to-use yet precise detection devices/ methods for inspections at P&G operations (e.g. material income, manufacturing control, cleaning of equipment) and at our supply chain partners that can be used by workers and do not require laboratory environment/ standards |
Seeking Glue-free and Plastic-free closure of paper packaging |
| |
We are looking for a technology to seal paper packaging materials (paper only with no plastic coating) without using traditional glues or any other additive. For a sustainable packaging application, we're looking for a technology to seal or crimp kraft paper without using glue or plastic coating applied on the paper. Ideally, we want to seal 100% untreated paper without adding any other chemicals. Our preferred solution would be a folding of the packaging material |
Food composition based on Babassu |
| |
A gluten-free food composition comprising extruded babassu flour. Alternative and novel material, which possesses future commercial potential from those of conventionally used packaging forms used by the food industry and for direct consumption. |
Potentiometric sensors for the selective and direct detection of hydrogen peroxide |
| |
The present technology belongs to the medical field: by means of potentiometric sensors it is possible to detect the presence of hydrogen peroxide in clinical samples. This fact allows the development of devices for measuring hydrogen peroxide, preferably in a single undiluted whole blood drop out of the clinical laboratory. |
One-step water recycling for inorganic and organic pollutants |
| |
Researchers from Universitat de València in collaboration with Università della Calabria have developed a new patented technology related to water recycling and Metal-Organic Frameworks. The patent application consists of new materials that eliminate inorganic and organic pollutants in a single step. In this way, these materials avoid the multi-step sequential protocols that are currently applied in water recycling plants. The materials of this invention are based on Multivariate Metal-Organic Frameworks (MTV-MOFs). They have a wide range of applications in water recycling plants such as pharmaceutical, textile, food, plastic, mining... etc, as well as for agricultural and domestic use. |
