BARCELONA, SPAIN — Innoget, the premier consulting boutique for Corporate Innovation, is proud to announce the launch of the second challenge under the Future Foods Lab initiative, in collaboration with Nomad Foods, Europe’s leading frozen food company.

The new “Culinary Creativity Challenge” officially opens today, seeking to identify and partner with forward-thinking startups that can transform the home cooking experience. This initiative follows the successful inaugural Future Foods Lab challenge focused on functional nutrition, further cementing the strategic partnership between Innoget’s innovation ecosystem and Nomad Foods’ market leadership.

Reinventing the Kitchen As consumer habits evolve, there is an increasing demand for meals that are not only convenient but also offer high levels of personalization and culinary excitement. The Culinary Creativity Challenge invites startups with functional prototypes or market-ready solutions to pitch innovations that make frozen food more customizable, easier to prepare, and more engaging for the modern cook.

"At Innoget, our mission is to de-risk corporate innovation that solve real-world problems," said Jordi Rafols, CEO at Innoget. "By partnering with Nomad Foods for this second challenge, we are providing startups with a rare 'Venture Client' opportunity—giving them a direct path to a paying customer and the scale required to make a pan-European impact."

A Fast-Track to Success Startups selected for the Future Foods Lab will benefit from:

  • Venture Clienting Model: A commercial relationship where Nomad Foods acts as a primary customer to validate the technology.

  • Market Validation: Access to Nomad Foods' extensive R&D resources and test-and-learn environments across Europe.

  • Expert Mentorship: Guidance from cross-functional leaders in procurement, marketing, and food science.

Application Details The challenge is open to startups with a legal entity, a dedicated team, and a solution that is ready for pilot testing. Applications are being accepted via the Innoget-powered Nomad Foods Open Innovation Portal.

  • Submission Deadline: 24 May, 2026

  • How to Apply: Startups can submit their proposals at [Insert Website Link].
