Intensification of chemical processes

Description of the technology

Areas of Expertise

Intensification of chemical processes (ICP) is nowadays commonly mentioned as one of the most promising development paths for the chemical industry and one of the most important progress areas for chemical engineering research. The use of alternative energy forms e.g. plasma, UV, microwave or ultrasound waves is one of the key approaches of ICP. We use these techniques to synthesis of organic compounds, and preparation of polymers and nanomaterials.

We are experts in:

  • Microwave assisted synthesis of polymers and organic compounds
  • Identification of structure of unknown organic and polymeric compounds
  • Investigations of fluorescent dyes and nanoparticles
  • Synthesis of biodegradable polyesters

Our Current Research Area

  • Microwaves in nanoparticles synthesis
  • Conversion of biomass and bioproducts to value-added chemicals and polymers
  • Fluorescent compounds
  • Alternative solvents

Desired business relationship

we look cooperation possibilites, industry partners
