The Secretary of Defense announced several measures to protect the Joint Force and the Public and U.S. Commanders received delegated authority to make further decisions based on their own assessments in order to protect their people and ensure mission readiness. There is an open call for innovative capabilities to address the impacts of COVID-19 on public safety and national security. The innovations and solutions collected will be shared by default with a wide network of Government personnel engaged in the current challenge.
