EUvsVirus Hackathon euvsvirus.org is a Europe-wide online hackathon organized by the most plugged in and nationally connected actors from all over Europe. It builds upon already conducted national hackathons to enable the rapid execution of brilliant solutions.

The #EUvsVirus is a call to action to each and everyone to participate in the fight against COVID-19: Demonstrate unity and share your skills for the common good across borders and generations!

Let’s digitally open EU-borders during this collective challenge! Benefits Follow-up The European Commission, in close collaboration with all member States and the participating H2020 associated countries, will provide follow up to the best projects coming from the #EUvsVirus hackathon through the new European Innovation Council (EIC) Covid platform.

Foundations, investors, health providers (e.g. hospitals) will also be part of the EIC Covid platform. A virtual hackathon bringing together Biomedical and data scientists to explore ways to combat CoronaVirus. About this Event Please join us for this high profile hackathon designed to accelerate approaches to monitoring, diagnosing and controlling the CoronaVirus. This event will shortly go virtual through a platform with full access to covid-19 datasets and other technology. You will work collaboratively with top data scientists, biomedical researchers, vaccine specialists, startup founders and investors to developing innovative approaches to the current crisis. Full joining details will be provided once the platform has been established. This is a preliminary notification due to the short deadlines. Lumiata invite data scientists, machine learning practitioners, developers, health IT professionals, public health experts and others around the globe, to participate in the Lumiata COVID-19 Global AI Hackathon. Participants will develop solutions that address the challenges this pandemic poses to citizens of the world today and for the impact it will have in the future. Winners will be recognized with solutions fully open-sourced and hosted on the Lumiata AI Platform, as well as public recognition in an awards ceremony. Lumiata COVID-19 Global AI Hackathon will kick-off on April 17. Participants will have until May 1 to develop their solutions. Awards will be announced on May 8. Winning solutions will be deployed on the Lumiata AI Platform and published with full credit to the developer. We welcome all ideas related to the criteria.
