Vendor Organization : anonymous company / India
Type of Organization : Others (scientists, inventors, …)
Current Development Status : Proof of Concept or Laboratory Prototype
Sector : Healthcare, Pharmaceutical
Tags : Coprocessed Excipients
Description of the technology offer
Dose dumping is most commonly seen in drugs taken by mouth and digested in the gastrointestinal tract. Around the same time patients take their medication, they can also ingest other substances like fatty meals or alcohol that increase drug delivery. The substances may act on the drug's dosage form to speed up drug release, or they may stimulate the body's absorptive surfaces to increase the rate of drug uptake.
We have developed the co-processed ready mix coating excipient system which can avoid the dose dumping and minimize the adverse toxic effects.

Vendor Organization : anonymous company / Kazakhstan
Type of Organization : Others (scientists, inventors, …)
Current Development Status : Research or Experimental
Sector : Aerospace & defence, Bulk products & materials, Transport
Tags : Transport machinery, the most miscellaneous equipment, Torque, Mechanical Homeostat, transport machines
Description of the technology offer
I have developed a kinematic configuration and “The Theory of Mechanical Transformer of a Torque”.
Almost all industries require reliable mechanisms with stepless change of transfer functions. The idea of such mechanism exists for a long time. In the engineering literature it is commonly called Transformer of Torque (TT). TT allows implementing the basic principle of dynamics: “Winning in force, losing in speed; winning in speed, losing in force”, and it is considered as cybernetic system. In the long term it is a mechanical HOMEOSTAT, the device exercising control in conditions of initial uncertainty, on the basis of the current information on the varying parameter.

Vendor Organization : Albert Six
Type of Organization : Others (scientists, inventors, …)
Current Development Status : Proof of Concept or Laboratory Prototype
Sector : Aerospace & defence, Power, Transport, Others
Tags : gearbox, speed variators, CVT, Continuously Variable Transmission, torque converter, drive train
Description of the technology offer
This mechanical device is a NEW way to combine a differential and a speed variator. There are no electrical components. The input torque is divided into two channels. It is the way we recombine those two channels that controls the output. The Torque Box transforms the power of the motor (or turbine, gas engine...) into any speed or torque needed by the user. When more power is needed, the torque of the input can be increased without changing its speed. The motor is kept running at its optimum speed and saves energy. The output speed can vary CONTINUOUSLY from zero to the maximum speed. No need to switch gears in cars or trucks.
In many industries the size of the motor is determined by the maximum torque necessary. When the output speed of the Torque box goes down to zero the output torque can increase indefinitely. Many motors can be downsized.

Description of the technology offer
Researchers from the department of Chemical Engineering of the University of Salamanca have developed a new system to produce microcapsules with an air-blast atomizer. It is a soft method that does not involve one of two harsh conditions usually used, neither contact with an organic solvent nor heating during processing. Both the system and method, via ionic gelation, use only biocompatible materials with no added chemicals other than sodium alginate and barium chloride. The capsules generated with an air-blast atomizer, in contrast with previous work done without harsh conditions, have a minor size: ranged between 10-50 microns.

Vendor Organization : University of Salamanca / Spain
Type of Organization : Technology transfer organization (TTO)
Current Development Status : In Use Testing Results Available
Sector : Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Others
Tags : pharmaceutics, care, Hygiene, beauty, care and health services, drugs, medical textiles
Description of the technology offer
Researchers from the department of Chemical Engineering of the University of Salamanca in collaboration with health personnel from the Universitary Hospital have designed and developed a new kind of drug delivery matrixes to vascularize, cicatrize and regenerate tissues and/or organs.
The invention is useful to vascularize and cicatrize tissues and/or organs of some important diseases but also in industrial applications, i.e., intelligent textiles, cosmetics, etc.
The matrix comprises two faces of equal or different structure: one for its adherence to the organ or tissue, and the other one for a protection of the area. Moreover these kinds of matrixes comprise growth factors that prevent the degradation and optimize the vascularisation. The matrix allows the sequential release of one or more different molecules simultaneously.
