Current Development Status : Research or Experimental
Sector : Biotechnology, Chemical, Pharmaceutical
Tags : diamines, alkenes, chiral amine, dienes, catalysis
Description of the technology offer
The 1,2-diamine scaffold is found in many active pharmaceutical ingredients, agrochemicals and fine chemicals, but no method has been reported so far for their preparation from alkenes in one single step. We have developed two methods for the intermolecular 1,2-diamination of olefins. The first method is metal catalyzed and allows for the regioselective preparation of 1,2-diamines from terminal alkenes or allyl ethers, while the second method is enantioselective and takes place without using metal catalysts.
We are interesting in licensing the methods or adapt the technology to the specific needs of a partner.
