  The invention is a molecule called D-myo-inositol 3, 4, 5, 6 tetrakisfosfato (hereinafter TMI), with a potential therapeutic value in the prophylaxis / prevention and / or treatment of thromboembolic diseases, particularly arterial thrombosis and heart attacks; it will be used to recover the antithrombin activity in cases of patients with antithrombin deficiency or treatments of diseases associated with increased blood coagulation.
  
  TMI actives antithrombin in the presence of heparin from 10 to 20 percent, which is considered very important. With all this, thrombin activity (which is responsible for the fibrinogens becomes fibrin and therefore clot forms) is inhibited.

  There are several compounds that already activated it, usually from polysaccharides although, the most important is heparin, which by binding to antithrombin complex creates an inhibitor that increases the efficiency of the inhibitory effect on thrombin.
  
  The problem is that heparin has undesirable side effects. This new molecule is not derived from polysaccharides and it has an affinity higher than the affinity of heparin.

  Existing desalination plants operate at a low efficiency of around 10-20%. This is mainly because the system was designed back in the 1950’s when energy supply was readily available and water shortage was not so severe. Their design is LINEAR and rely on increasing their size for more output hence their low efficiency. Around 80% of the seawater is rejected to the sea at high temperature and hence a considerable energy loss. Large intake structures, boilers, evaporators, pressure reducers, pumps and other equipment are therefore needed to handle this large amounts of seawater. This increases the installation, processing, operation and maintenance costs which increases the overall cost of the process.
  
  Solar energy is available for most of year in tropical areas facing water shortages. This because existing desalination equipment cannot make direct use of solar energy shortages. The solar thermal ejector absorbs and retain solar thermal heat to overcome this problem. Also the internal flow is vortical and NONLINEAR and relies on internal shape nozzle constrictions rather than increasing external equipment size. Read more

  A lab-on-chip device has been developed to be use in high throughput analysis of cell cultures, allowing the study of their growth and response to the environment (culture condition, culture medium, drugs, etc.) depending on the substrate rigidity. This device comprises a gel maker with, at least, two entry channels, a mixer to create a mixing gradient, exit channels connected to a multi-well culture chamber, allowing gels differing from rigidity to be deposited, as substrate, in different wells. The culture chamber also comprises entry and exit channels for culture medium, cells, and agents (biological factors, drugs, etc.) to be added to the wells. Specifically, those focused on time-interleaved analog-to-digital converters (TI ADCs), where bandwidth mismatch between parallel input sampling switches reduces their maximum attainable linearity.
  
  A new analog input bandwidth adjustment system is launched here. This system can be used to equalize the input bandwidth of each parallel input sampling switch of TI ADCs.

However, the anaerobic treatment with membrane biomass retention and the application of advanced fouling control methods let recover the methanogenic potential of lipids making it a robust and competitive treatment method for wastewater with high oil and grease content.

  Other aspects of the invention are: preparation procedures of nanodevices; pharmaceutical compositions and medicaments comprising nanodevices; their use to treat or prevent diseases where b-galactosidase is over-expressed; the uses of these nanodevices for the detection and quantification of senescent cells, and for the manufacture of cosmetic compositions.
  The cargo can be a marker, a compound for re-activation of telomerase, a cytotoxic compound, or any mixture of them. These substances selectively delivered can prevent, eliminate/replace, detect or mark senescent cells.
  
  Inventors have shown the liberation of cargo in the presence of b-Gal: (a) in a aqueous solution; (b) intracellular delivery of cargo in cultures of a strain of S. cerevisiae expressing b-Gal, opposite to wild type used as control; (c) selective delivery of substances to senescent cells in human cell cultures, dermis fibroblasts from two patients with congenital diskeratosis related to sex (X-CD) versus control fibroblasts, H460 lung cancer cells expressing telomerase (no senescent cells), and primary human cells. Viability studies showed that nanodevices of the invention are not toxic for human cells.

  Within the variety of techniques that you can use to count vehicles, employees most frequently are those using sensors located on the pavement. Can be cited as examples the Pneumatic hoses, inductive loops, piezoelectric sensors, sensors based on fiber optic cables etc.These systems present several disadvantages, including the difficulty that entails installation (as it is the case of the inductive loops that have to be installed under the pavement), the safety of personnel responsible for performing the installation or the need to interrupt the traffic for the installation in the case of the hoses, the piezoelectric sensors and fiber optic cables. One of its disadvantages is the deterioration suffered by these devices by the passage of vehicles.
  
  The effectiveness of these systems may also depend on characteristics of the via (several lanes) and adverse weather conditions.A first alternative that prevents the installation directly on the pathway or beneath the surface of the track is to make use of non-intrusive techniques. Non-intrusive techniques that you can use in the count of vehicles are very different between them are what make use of sensors of infrared (IR), magnetic sensors, acoustic sensors, video, radar, ultrasound, etc.While the technique based on the analysis of the images recorded in video provides a large amount of data (number, category and speed of vehicles) and is easy to implement, it has been found that there are many factors that affect the performance of these systems: stationary and moving shadows, direct sun, light-dark transitions, errors in the operation of the software etc. Relation to acoustic systems, these problems in the detection of vehicles at rest and in situations of high traffic density. The radar is also commonly used but presents the disadvantage of its high cost and require calibrations frequent, also expensive. There are also devices based on the use of two Ultrasonic sensors tuned to two different frequencies and are located in two separate high supports. Sensors detect the passage of vehicles and make a classification of these according to your profile.
  
  This device is designed to detect and classify vehicles entering garages and building entrances. Even though such devices are suitable for low speed conditions and well preset parameters at the time of the Assembly, are not suitable in situations in which the speed of the vehicles is high (expressways) since it is not possible to draw the profile of the vehicle with precision, the presence of disturbances due to temperature changes, influence of high levels of noise and interference between sensors next make it is not appropriate for this type so demanding application.The present invention provides a method that makes use of ultrasonic distance sensors in such a way that, although the sensors are affected by disturbances such as those mentioned, this method allows to discriminate when a vehicle has passed, quickly takes and some parameters that characterize its type.   Laboratory and field experiences done by the research group UBUCOMP show that it is possible to obtain biofumigant effect through the anaerobic decomposition of an adecuate mixture of organic wastes of agricultural origin.
  
  The ban of chemical fumigants, such as halogenated hydrocarbons, on intensive agricultural production, has led to a increasing interest in new methods of biological control of soil-borne plant pathogens. One of the most promising methodologies is the biodesinfección consisting in the introduction of organic residues into soil solarization processes, whose decomposition produces gases with fumigant effect and contributes to restore soil health for later crops.

  The University of Burgos has an industrial system for computed tomography (CT-scan) and two high-resolution 3D scanners for fast and accurate 3D scanning of surfaces both, of large and small objects. Also posses a sophisticated equipment for the rapid production of high resolution replicas by Laser Sintering of polyamide powder that can reproduce in one step external and internal parts, mechanisms, etc.. Polyamide casts are created from 3D digital models generated by none destructive techniques as the CT-scan, CAD or lasser scanner.

  2.With the CT-scan we can visualize and study the inside of objects and some properties as porosity or density.

  4.The 3D models is accurate and can be obtained quickly with a minimum handle of the original. High-resolution three-dimensional replicas can be produced from the designs that have been generated by other applications like CAD, the CT-scan or 3D surface scanner.
