Biotechnology companies and TIC

According to data produced by the Open Innovation platform INNOGET, the biotech sector is the one that demands more R&D solutions, 45% of the total demands, followed by the TIC’s, 25%.The balance, 30%, is shared by the chemical, food and environmental industry.

Concerning the supply, the sector giving more R&D solutions is the engineering, covering 35%. The second and the third place are for the biotechnology (25%) and telecommunication (15%)

Mataro (Barcelona) 27th September 2010.   According to data gathered by  Innoget, the first Spanish Open Innovation platform, the companies that request more R&D solutions are the ones belonging to the biotechnology sector which accumulates 45% of the demand for solutions, followed by companies in the TIC sector (25%). The balance, 30%, is shared by the chemical, food and environmental industry.

According to the data produced by the platform, the sector that provides more R&D solution is the engineering, 35% of the supply. The second position is for the biotechnology companies, 25%, and the third one for the telecommunication companies which cover 15% of the market.
