Challenge: Seeking: ways to double the lifespan and performance of professional and industrial cutting tools

We wish to double (or more) the usable lifetime and performance of professional and industrial cutting tools such as band saws, reciprocating saws, auger bits, hss drills, hole saws, and blades for circular saws. these blades, bits, and drills cut a variety of materials, including wood, metal, concrete, composites, and ceramics. the jump in lifetime and performance we're after should not prevent the tools from use in currently available factory, shop, and hand-held equipment.
