  Crystalline zeolites in oxygen concentrators have differential selectivity with respect to the gaseous components of air, making it possible to remove nitrogen, argon and other trace elements from the feed air to the PSA process. Current oxygen concentrator technologies utilize NaX, CaX or LiX zeolites to selectively remove nitrogen from feed air in the PSA process. With such adsorbents, oxygen product purity is limited to nominally 95% because argon is not removed and concentrates in the product gas.

  CUSTOMER PROBLEM (Prior To GEI)
  
  Fuel cells are a highly efficient, combustion-less, and virtually pollution free energy source which provide electricity to power a wide array of applications including buildings, electric grids, trucks and automobiles, emergency back-up systems, laptop computers, and numerous other consumer devices. In principle, a fuel cell is an electrochemical device that operates like a battery. However, unlike a battery, a fuel cell requires re-fueling, and not recharging. A fuel cell uses fuel — usually hydrogen extracted from natural gas, propane, or other carbon based fuels, and oxygen extracted from air — to produce electricity. Fuel cells will continue to produce energy in the form of electricity and heat as long as there is a constant fuel source. Hydrogen fuel cells work simply, have no moving parts, and operate silently with water and excess heat as the only by-products.
  
  GEI High Temperature PEM (HTPEM) fuel cells operate at 160-180C. The HTPEM higher operating temperatures allow the use of non-pure hydrogen as a fuel while maintaining the cost and expanding the application flexibility benefits of low temperature PEM fuel cells.
  
  The specific benefits include:
  
  1) More efficient use of thermal energy or by-product heat used in a combined heat and power application resulting in high system efficiencies;
  
  2) Reduction of balance-of-plant (BOP) components for cooling, water management and purification resulting in reduced maintenance and simpler operations and controls;
  
  3) When using reformed fuels rather than pure hydrogen, the result is increased tolerance to carbon monoxide (by a factor of 300) which can poison LTPEM systems. The ability to use non-pure hydrogen reduces the equipment and capital cost necessary to remove fuel impurities.
  
  The resulting triad of benefits listed above result in a simpler yet compact and robust design which requires no humidification with high fuel flexibility and lower cost, yielding significant competitive advantages for commercial HTPEM fuel cell power systems. When HTPEM's are integrated with fuel reforming technologies, the combined heat and power fuel processing system is very efficient, with a high power/weight ratio, and represents the optimum technology for on-board reforming of military JP8 diesel,synthetic fuels, and locally available infrastructure fuels. The GEI HTPEM power generation and fuel reforming technology represents the optimum balance between the cost and availability of low temperature PEM fuel cells, and the high temperature fuel impurity tolerance of much higher temperature (800C+) fuel cells.
  
  The result is a game changing power technology which out-performs solar, wind, geothermal, hydro-electric, coal, and other power solutions from a cost and an efficiency standpoint while also being able to enhance the performance of these power solutions.

This mAb has been tested on tissue sections and we have preliminary data from cancer patient blood samples. Since, we have already charcterized this mAb, this can readily adapted to develop an assay for early detection of malignant tumor.
