A UNIVERSITY FOUNDED OVER 700 YEARS AGO

The University of Lleida has its roots in the Estudi General de Lleida, which was created in 1300 by virtue of a charter granted to the city of Lleida by King Jaume II of Aragon.

The University of Lleida (UdL) combines its success as a long-standing university with a young and dynamic structure that is committed to training and research activities with the aim of transferring knowledge from the fields of engineering, computer science, the health and life sciences, the educational sciences, law, economics and the arts.
