Our innovation policy
We have active collaboration agreements and R&D programs with the University of the Balearic Islands (Laboratory of Molecular Cell Biomedicine, Department of Biology, IUNICS), with the University of Alicante (Dept. of Organic Chemistry), with the Biological Research Center of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Szeged (Institute of Biochemistry) and with the Paraplegic National Hospital in Toledo.
We have collaboration agreement with a Danish/British Biotech company (Bridge Bioresearch) for the joint development of lipid compounds in cancer and obesity and has out-licensed to a Spanish Biotech (AB-Therapeutics) the cancer applications of a new family of PUFA derivatives that are already being investigated by Lipopharma for their applications in Alzheimer's disease, inflammation and metabolic disorders.
