The seven hundred year old "Universidad de Valladolid" has become one of the most important centers of higher education in our country (Spain), rich in lessons and prominent in many fields of research. Currently, 24 centers spread across the campus of Palencia, Segovia, Soria and Valladolid offer more than a hundred degrees. More than 3,000 researchers spread over 161 research groups and more than 75 patents approved, make the University of Valladolid carry out their work and respond successfully to the demand for quality teaching and research that society demands. It's important to emphasize the research work where the multidisciplinary nature of research groups which conform them, has allowed to take part in large-scale projects both nationally and internationally in collaboration with companies.
Our main research areas are: Biotechnology & Life Sciences, Information Technology and Communications and Experimental Science and Agricultural Engineering.
